The Greenman Festival
The Green Man Festival is an independent music and arts festival held annually in mid-August in the Brecon Beacons, Wales. Founded in 2003, it has evolved into a 25,000 capacity 4-day event, showcasing predominantly live music (in particular alternative, indie, rock, folk, dance and Americana), with additional tents hosting literature, film, comedy, theatre and poetry. The festival site is divided into 10 areas.
No matter what kind of festival-goer you are, there will bound to be an area that rocks your boat. The illustrations you see above represent each area of the festival (click to see which one). The last image on the right shows all of the areas combined together. The Greenman Festival uses a limited color scheme to work with which resulted in a fun and challenging project. The illustrations were meant to be an assignment by my art teacher who has worked for the festival to practice how it is like working for a real life client.
